I had lunch at this restaurant recently and was blown away by the food and service. We ordered the Aloo Muttar Grilled Sandwich, Pune Misal Pav, Wada Pav, and Dahi Puri, and each was so delicious it was hard to pick a favorite. The fresh, high-quality ingredients stood out, reminiscent of iconic Mumbai chaat shops, which is rare for fast-food Indian places. The service was fast, and the ambiance, with great music, made it even better. I’m excited to return soon. Highly recommend!

All food is very authentic and yummy I recommend to every one please go and try it's totally worth it it's very nice staff , they are very friendly if you guys ask them and which one is most popular and they help you for choose menu what you want it's very fresh and they are totally hygienic prepared .. I was ordered hare pyas ki lasuni Khichdi , kaju lasuni Khichdi , vadapav butter , katchi bowl dabeli , pune misal pav ,panipuri, American nuts lassi , butter milk , maskabun with mix fruit I love this place I will be back
Had kaju lasaniya khuchdi and regular butter vada pav. Both were top notch. Service was great and restaurant was clean with great vibe. Must visit for Indian street food lovers.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the west suburbs of Chicago. They have more than 15 different types of khichdi (Indian lentil curry), which gives you a lot of options to choose from. For an all veg restaurant, this can compete with all kinds of different restaurants out there, just by their authentic flavors. We had the Masala khichdi and Lesaniya Corn Khichdi. We will definitely be back until we’ve tried all different types of khichdi.
Checked out Makta Khichdi—first U.S. location and it’s right here in Chicago! We ordered a bunch of stuff and honestly, everything was good. My favorites were the Italy Touch Sandwich and the Kaju Khichdi—so flavorful and comforting. The biryani was solid too. Also tried the sev puri, kuchi bowl (basically a deconstructed dabeli), vada pav butter, and paneer shaak. My fam said a lot of it tasted like the street food back in India, which says a lot. They’ve got fun drinks too (non-alcoholic), and the vibe is chill and welcoming. Service was amazing! Definitely a cool spot to check out if you’re into Indian street food or just want to try something new!
The food was amazingly good. Lasanya Kaju and Rajwadi (their best Khichdis on the menu). Veg masala and Paneera tikka lacked a bit of salt and masala compared to the other 2. Paneer makhanwala (one of the best sabzi) is not an ideal plate for kids (it is spicy). Rather, order moong daal khichdi. Their veggie sandwich was good as well. Will definitely be their frequent customer as long as they don't compromise the taste or quality of their dishes.
